There is a method to my madness so chose my publication title accordingly. What do you do when you reach your wit’s end?
My wife and I love being outdoors, weather permitting. A few years ago, we upgraded our outdoor living space by replacing our simple 11’ X 17’, one-level deck with a larger, two-level deck. We also had a 16’ diameter patio installed off the lower deck to extend our outdoor nirvana. Afterwards, I installed some really cool path lights bought from Old California Lighting in Orange, CA. (See images below.) We already had a water feature with two small, 600-gallon ponds connected by a gravity-fed stream. The water from the lower pond is pumped 40’ uphill to the upper pond that feeds into the stream. Our little outdoor mountain space is complete, and I enjoy every moment in it, until the flying critters show up.
Yesterday we had a rain event that brought 0.80 inches of much needed precipitation to our area. Tonight, we have a fire in our fire pit for the first time in 6 months to celebrate the end of a dry spell that prohibited such luxuries. Enjoy the ambience.

It rained here yesterday too. We needed the rain and need more. Your fire pit looks cozy. I’m trying to not reach my wit’s end! This is a daily challenge 😁💛
