(Washington DC) A new political party named WEIRDO has formed, with Former President and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, Republican vice-presidential nominee JD Vance, Republican House Members Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz, Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson and disgraced former Republican House Member George Santos, listed as founding members. “We feel like the Republican Party alone is too small a vessel to contain all of our Project 2025…, er, I mean, bold new ideas, but we will certainly draw from its ranks as its members become more delusional,” stated Speaker Johnson.
In light of this idea becoming public, attorneys for LBMA (Light Bulb Manufacturers Association) have asked the Parallel Circuit Court to issue a cease-and-desist order against further use of light bulbs as a metaphor for bright ideas. “We will not allow WEIRDOs to denigrate and abuse our products,” exclaimed a spokesperson for the group. After learning of LBMA’s cease and desist order, Marjorie Taylor Greene blew a fuse, while fuming about her free speech being shorted out.
When asked if WEIRDO was an acronym for some important sentence or phrase indicative of the party’s values, Vance bristled and shot back, “we ain’t a bunch of hillbillies fresh off a turnip truck who’re just using a common word for political purposes. WEIRDO proudly means Weird Egocentric Incoherent Republican Despots’ Organization.”
Last one out, turn off the ideas.
