(Hollywood, CA) Janus Studios confirmed today that they will reprise an early 20th century comedy classic from Columbia Pictures, The Three Stooges, as a reality TV show. The two Hollywood studios put aside their competive differences to bring laughter back into American homes when it is sorely needed. In the same announcement, Janus reinforced its commitment to DEI by saying they are replacing Moe’s character with a white, mentally disabled person, Larry’s character with a Pacific Islander female, and Curly’s character with an African American male.
Central casting selected one of reality TVs most infamous stars, Donald Trump, as Moe; Tulsi Gabbard as Lorie (Larry); and Mark Robinson as Curly. When reached for comments, a Janus spokesperson stated, “We are excited to bring farcical and slapstick comedy back to TV and hope families will embrace it.” The studio did not commit to a specific number of episodes citing multiple legal challenges that may affect the long-term availability of one of the cast members. In the likely event that happens during the first season, guest appearances by Rudy Giuliani, Jim Jordan, and RFK, Jr are planned to fill the void. The only member of the cast that commented was Mark Robinson (Curly) from his Raleigh, NC office; who simply said, “Woo, woo, woo, woo!”
Curly's comments were especially to the point :-)
But wait.....don't these characters HATE COMEDY? Oh. right. Nevermind.
